Show Your Support to RPK
Dear friends of RPK,
A man who has stood up for truth and justice in Malaysia has now been incarcerated for two years without trial and with no hope for release, save at the pleasure of our Home Minister.
The time has come for Malaysians to stand up and be counted; to send a signal both to the authorities that we will not be cowered and that we stand by our man; to send a signal to each other that we are not alone, and to show our strength to one and all.
The time has come to act.
We compile here a number of actions that every Malaysian citizen can do in protest of the ISA, and to express their hope for a better Malaysia. It is imperative in this crucial moment that we keep up the momentum, lest RPK be forgotten like the rest of the ISA detainees.
- Fly the Malaysian flag anywhere and everywhere possible (car, house, desk, body)
- Drive with your headlights on in the day
- Go bald (send pictures to MT Team)
- Tie a yellow ribbon anywhere and everywhere possible (send pictures to MT Team)
There are a number of other activities that can also be done, all of which will help RPK:
- Wear Free RPK T-shirts or I am with RPK T-shirts (pre-order now at airkosong.com or firstklik.com )
- Hold Candlelight vigils (send pictures to MT Team)
- Sign online petitions (click here)
- Flood the authorities with email, phone calls, faxes, etc (click here to send email or here for more details)
- Send greeting cards to ISA detainees in Kamunting to :

- 5. At first there was peace until someone dastardly decided to turn sonofkoyakutty. From then on the world has never experienced justice. (is this relevant to Augustined?)

Anti ISA Rally Tonight
I feel guilty for not attending any of the rally or vigil held for anti ISA when I am in KL (although I had ordered t-shirts, so that I can wear it during the rally). The common excuse is, I am in town for work, and limited time for myself, I know this is the lame excuse but... but.. ok, ok, I have no more excuse other than this, but what about those who stay in KL, do you have any lame excuse just like me?
Read The People's Parliament by Haris Ibrahim and Zorro Unmasked by Bernard Khoo for the rally of anti ISA tonight.

Murugiah said instead of RM5.80 allocated for detainess daily meal, actually it is only RM4.50 allocated by the police.
Oh.. by the way, do I sounds like I am insulting eggs here? If not the UMNO youth will lodge a police report for insulting eggs (haha.. I can't stop laughing when I read this, so EGG is to sue Teresa? It seems like another youth want to steal the lime light of botak). Read the Sun here.

Raja Petra in Kamunting for 2 Years
He was arrested since 12 September 2008 and was sent to Kamunting for two years detention, detention approval was signed by Sai Hamid. Everybody seems
Nice job Sai Hamid. Pissed us off. You will see how angry we are and we will show.
"Today, I received many phone calls from concerned friends who told me that the government is considering detaining me under the Internal Security Act ‘very soon’. If that does happen, then this could probably be the last article I write, at least until 16 September 2008. So I too need Anwar to succeed. If not I will be in Kamunting for quite some time to come and you will not hear from me over the next couple of years.
Yes, I too have placed, not only my money, but also my freedom on Anwar. And if Anwar fails to deliver his promise on 16 September 2008, not only he but I as well am headed for a fall. But I have confidence he will do it. And I have confidence that my stay in Kamunting will not be for two years but for a mere two weeks.
But if I am wrong…..well, then see you maybe in six or seven years time, because for sure Najib Tun Razak will not release me in 2010 when he becomes Prime Minister. What he would do, instead, would be to rollover my two-year detention another two years, and another two years, and another two years, until I am too old to think and write anymore.
Till we meet again, if we do meet again, take care and keep the flame burning. There is still a long fight ahead of us in bringing reforms to this beloved country of ours."

Wee Chee Meng To Report To Bukit Aman

P/S @ 24/09/08: A friend of mine said he deserved what he did. I was so angry with this Chinaman attitude. This is what the typical chinese do. Silence on everything as long as we can live our life. Is Anwar Still Bluffing?
Written by : Ong Kian Ming & Yun Yang | Sep 17, 08 1:04pm
September 16 has come and gone and Barisan Nasional is still in power. Has Pakatan Rakyat leader Anwar Ibrahim failed to keep his promise? Has his credibility been affected? Is this an indication that he will not be able to form the next government in the near future?
Perhaps not.
We had indicated in previous podcasts that we did not think Anwar could form the next government by Sept 16. The reasons were numerous – that no BN party or MPs besides Sapp came out in support or rather in defiance of the ruling coalition; that he could not get Sarawak MPs while Chief Minister Taib Mahmud is still in power: that he could not get a enough Malay or Muslim MP crossovers to make his coalition a Malay/Muslim majority coalition.
From outside looking in, Anwar's claim that he has had over 31 MPs in the bag has always been a matter of strategy on his part, a way to create uncertainty among the BN as well as to use it as a smokescreen to 'persuade' doubtful BN parliamentarians and parties to join his cause.
It has been a strategy that has worked well thus far as Anwar has managed to capitalise on the own goals scored by BN to possibly convince some MPs who may have been sitting on the fence. Furthermore, it was a bluff which could not be 'called' by Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, at least not until now.
Kian Ming expected him to announce the names of at least some BN crossovers, perhaps as many as 10 MPs, as an initial step to destabilise BN and perhaps use this an another hinge in the strategy to attract more BN crossovers to his side. Instead Anwar has made a high stakes gamble by declaring that he has the numbers to form the next government.
He could have made excuses to say that circumstances beyond his control such as the sodomy charges against him and the recent ISA arrests have prevented him from getting the sufficient numbers. But he has instead chosen the option of seeking to form the next government, saying he is prepared to show his list of crossovers to Abdullah.
By doing so, Anwar's has hemmed himself in. Abdullah could call his bluff, agree to meet him and demand to see the list. If he doesn't indeed have over 31 MPs as he claims, it's game over.
True to form, Abdullah chose instead of asking Anwar to do what he has not been willing to do in the first place, which is to reveal the names publicly. And the grounds for that is a convincing one. He doesn't want the crossover MPs to be harassed or worse still, arrested under the ISA.
Anwar faces a fundamental problem in the process of naming these 31 names. We suspect that many of these MPs may be willing to jump over to Anwar's side only if he can form the next government. This is not a given since 31 crossover MPs, together with Pakatan's 81 (assuming that Ibrahim Ali will maintain his independence) would give Pakatan a total of 112 MPs, a bare majority of just one.
Even then, if a majority of the crossovers MPs are non-Muslim, the King might not assent to Anwar's request to form the next government, especially with a bare majority of one. His claim of having at least 31 MPs may be a 'semi-bluff' in this sense.
Window of opportunity closing fast
Hence, Anwar faces a chicken-and-egg quandary. He cannot form the next government without naming the 31 MPs. But the 31 MPs won't allow themselves to be named without Anwar being able to form the next government. This is probably one of the main reasons why Anwar has not named any names. Anyone named without Anwar first forming the government would have plausible deniability.
However, by creating this self-imposed deadline, Anwar's window of opportunity has narrowed considerably. He has two or three weeks to make his move before he loses credibility.
Perhaps Anwar felt the potential BN crossovers might not have been willing to wait around forever for him to make his move. Perhaps he thought that his credibility would have been damaged if he did not make some move on Sept 16 as promised. Perhaps he felt he had to force the hands of the BN MPs whom he might have 'convinced' to switch over.
More importantly, Anwar's ability to convince BN parliamentarians to cross over might be significantly reduced if Umno decides to unite behind Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak and remove Abdullah from office. Given a new leader and perhaps a new lease of life, some of these MPs might decide to given Najib a chance. This possibility is looking more and more likely with each passing day.
Both of us have learnt not to underestimate Anwar. He said he could help Pakatan win over Penang, Perak and Selangor. And he did it. He said he could help deny BN the two-thirds majority. And he did it. Last month, he was not even an MP. Now, he looks like a prime-minister in waiting.
But whatever Anwar hopes to do, he needs to do it fast. Time is not on his side. Something will happen in the coming weeks.

Zaid Stick To His Decision
Those don't agree with the government's policies can resign immediately, jangan jadi batu penghalang saya
I am law minister you know, why ISA been used without my knowledge?? I QUIT!!
Sept 16 Press Statement In Full
Today, Malaysians celebrate Malaysia Day - the day our country became whole and our people become united. This day has a new meaning. After years of struggle, after fighting against a system that is corrupt and unjust - we affirm that victory is finally at hand. Our vision of rebuilding this country and bringing its people together, as the founding fathers envisioned, is within reach.
The economy is in turmoil with runaway inflation and joblessness creating widespread discontent. Racial tensions have been rising, exacerbated by the propaganda spread in the government owned mainstream media. The administration has offered no vision to steer the nation out of this quagmire and there is manifest erosion in confidence in the current government.
We in Pakatan Rakyat believe we can save Malaysia from economic ruin and the dangerous politics of racism. We will do so prudently, legally and in doing so we will not jeopardise the security and stability of the country and the safety of its people.
We have received firm commitments from members of parliament in excess of the number required to form a new government, and our government will reflect the diverse make-up of Malaysian society.
It has been our concern to ensure a peaceful transition of power. We do not wish to see a repeat of what transpired in the Selangor and Perak state governments, where following the victory of Pakatan Rakyat on March 8, documents were shredded and removed by the outgoing administration.
We furthermore advise radical elements within BN against the abuse of state power to unlawfully harass and detain our supporters.
The immediate investigation by the ACA (Anti-Corruption Agency) of Yong Teck Lee after the announcement by SAPP (Sabah Progressive Party) of its intention to move a motion of no-confidence against Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is another example of the tactics we reject.
The use of the ISA, as has happened to MP Teresa Kok, would be an unlawful impediment to the transition process.
In light these serious concerns, yesterday leaders of Pakatan Rakyat sent a letter to the prime minister at 2.30pm requesting a meeting to discuss the future course of the nation's leadership and to seek his assurance on the following important matters:
1) That the BN shall not hinder or prevent their BN MPs from acting in accordance with their conscience, constitutional rights and independent judgment;
2) That the BN government shall not invoke the Internal Security Act to detain any of the MPs who will join Pakatan Rakyat, or any of the present 82 Pakatan Rakyat MPs;
3) That the BN government shall not invoke emergency or police powers, or suspend the constitution, or dissolve parliament in response to our intention to form a new government;
4) That the Barisan Nasional government shall not impose roadblocks and impede the MPs from gaining access to the House of Parliament and the institutions of government.
We believe the prime minister will share Pakatan Rakyat's concerns for the welfare of the people and security of the nation. We are confident he will ensure the BN will act constitutionally and democratically to ensure that the transition will be peaceful, and there will be no actions taken to sabotage the wishes of the people or play on racial tensions in the country.
We appeal to all quarters in Malaysian society to understand our intentions are for the betterment of Malaysian society. The mainstream media, in particular, should accept the reality of these historic times and report fairly, accurately and without bias. The irresponsible tact that is used by the media to obfuscate issues, attack opposition supporters and instigate racial tensions must end immediately.
Following our meeting with the prime minister, we intend to proceed within the framework established by the federal constitution in the formation of a new government, with the assent of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Dream Come True?!
Yes! Anwar had made it! He said that in a press conference at 2pm today and only pending the meeting with Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to ensure a smooth and peaceful transition.
Read the article at Star here or Malaysiakini here .
Let us celebrate for New Malaysia! Happy Malaysia Day!! And wish for peaceful and successful transition.

Happy Malaysia Day
A view of the large crowd on the field of the Kelana Jaya Stadium in Petaling Jaya last night to mark Malaysia Day organised by Pakatan Rakyat.
The day is coming, Anwar had claimed that the new government is ready, PKR has enough numbers of MP's in their hand, the fall of Barisan Nasional is inevitable, new government to be formed, but it will not happen today on 16th September 2008.
"Why are we not changing tomorrow? We don't want to do it by force. To go to Putrajaya and drag them out. So, we want to negotiate with the prime minister to see if he wants one week or two weeks. But our promise is that we will not follow the rule of the jungle. There will be no witch-hunting - what is done is done. What we want is to rule without corruption, detention without trial or theft of the people's resources." Anwar said. Read here for more details.
Let us be calm and patience, the radical changes that we are yearning is coming, sooner or later.
HAPPY MALAYSIA DAY TO ALL MALAYSIAN!

We Solute You Datuk Zaid Ibrahim
You're the men, Datuk! We solute you! unlike others who make anonymous press conference but do nothing, nor pull out from the government, this is the quality of minister that we are looking for.
Eh.... how come the more I look at him, the more I think that he's quite charming and sexy?
Alert to Malaysia Today Advertisers
If I am advertiser, with the traffic of 100,000 readers (or maybe more) per day, why should I pull out from Malaysia Today? Why do I have to listen to the the police to pull out my advertisement? Make no sense at all!!
Free ISA Detainees!!
The Barisan Nasional Government has on the 12 September detained Member of Parliament for Seputeh, state assemblywoman for Kinrara as well the senior state executive councillor for Selangor, without trial under the draconian Internal Security Act (ISA).
She has been accused of stirring up racial sentiments by instigating residents to petition against mosques in Kinrara and Kota Damansara to lower the volume of their speakers. Teresa has denied these allegations and both mosques have already come out to deny these accusations. She has already threatened to sue Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, the former Selangor Menteri Besar and Utusan Malaysia for making and publishing these unfounded allegations.
The arrest of Sdri Teresa Kok, Raja Petra Kamaruddin, the Hindraf 5 as well as others is hence arbitrary, high-handed and a mockery of democracy. By labelling Teresa and others as threats to national security without any shred of evidence is a travesty of justice and a gross violation of human rights. The petitioners hence resolves that the BN government should not use draconian powers under the ISA to cling on to power and demands the immediate and unconditional release of Teresa, Raja Petra, the Hindraf 5 and other detainees. In addition, we the petitioners demand the immediate repeal of the ISA to prevent abuses that oppresses the fundamental liberties of each and every Malaysian.
Please click to here to sign the petition. As at 15 September 2008, 12.20pm, there are 9235 had signed the petition. Please forward this to all Malaysian and walk with us!!

Who Next?
Then Teresa Kok also arrested under ISA too for the azan matter, which had been smeared by Khir Toyo, although Teresa had made a statement here, and person in charge of masjid Kinrara denied of her involvement, but yet they still used this as a reason to arrest her.
Who's next other than them? Tian Chua who followed the MP's to Taiwan 'milking cows'? or Anwar, so that 916 won't happen? Probably arrest all the MP's that will possibly crossover so that they can stop 916 from happening.
But I wonder, why not Ahmad Ismail who talked so loud that had created the racial issue not detained under ISA? Isn't the 3 years of suspension punishment too light for him?
Why not Datuk Seri Khir Toyo who make the statement without hearing both parties statements? Although the masjid Kinrara had denied the involvement of Teresa Kok on this issue.
Why not arrest the owner of http://pembelamelayu.blogspot.com/ for spreading malicious slander and lies? Why? Why?
It's because they are DESPERATE and PANIC! What else to do to gain back Rakyat confident to the government other than silent the truth?
This is the darkest moment in Malaysia history, we can feel the change is coming, very soon.. very soon..

What? 916 Will Not Happen?
"It will not happen on Sept 16. So the date might be 17 plus one or plus two or plus three but it will not be much longer than that," said PKR deputy president Dr Syed Husin Ali.
Congratulations Pak Lah, your strategy works! Keep it up, even though BN seems like "nyawa-nyawa ikan".
Oops... I Did It Again
Okay, okay, have to admit, she wasn't that bad, at least before she delivered babies, she was such a hot babe, but after?? Do guys still interested to fuxk her I wonder...
Sorry, a little drifted away, actually what I want to express is about the bonker and extremist Penang UMNO leader, Ahmad Ismail. In an 50 minutes press conference,
"While it is not difficult to say sorry - for the sake of my Malay dignity, I resolve not to apologise no matter what others may say. I am willing to take the risk (for not doing so)," he said.
Ok Ahmad, we knew it since from the beginning, you won't apologize but what the fuss of you making the following action?
To piss Gerakan out from BN so that UMNO when BN get back their power and you will be the head of Penang? In your dream lah... Do you think Penangites will vote you after these actions? As barbaric and uncivilised as it seemed, this is what we'd come to expect of UMNO puteras and out of all this racial slur, they are now the champions of Ketuanan Melayu, their actions clearly shown how UMNO gangsterism worked at their political field. (quoted by Nase, My Solitude of Space).
"I want them to know, I want them to take this as a warning from the Malays. Malays and Muslims have been provoked many times. We have been patient because we want to maintain stability in the country," he said.
"Remember! The patience of Malays and Muslims has its limits. Do not push us to the wall, where we will be forced to reject the Chinese for the sake of our survival."
What's next? Show us more Ahmad, we are waiting to see how did you end up your political career.

Too Little Too Late - Part III
Why he didn't mentioned it during his speech?
"Sepatutnya pemimpin siasat dahulu dan jangan sebab nak jaga hati bangsa lain, maka mereka buat kenyataan yang menyakiti hati orang Melayu."
“Apa salahnya orang Melayu bangun? Kalau kita cakap sekali, riuh se-Malaysia. Jangan ingat orang Melayu lemah,” katanya. ~~Utusan Malaysia Online
Doesn't it obvious?
"So the reporter is the one who is responsible in creating this racial issue. It is the reporter who is racist, not me," he said amidst cheers and calls from some Umno members present who shouted the words 'Suruh dia balik tong san' (Tell him to go back to China). ~~ the Sun- Sun2Surf
Another racist statement uttered by asking Chinese go back to China
“Saya bercakap mewakili orang Melayu, kalau UMNO tidak mahu (terima) pun tidak apa,” tegasnya. ~~ Utusan Malaysia Online
Ewah, ewah... ni dah lawan taukeh ni...
What is his motive of creating racist issue?
I am sure the journalists had recorded the speech made by him on 23 August 2008, publish it and let us judge it by ourselves, we are no fool and not as naive and ignorance as before!!

Too Little Too Late - Part II
We want to see what disciplinary action UMNO will take against him. We want to see what is the prime minister going to say now after all his talk of unity and respect for people regardless of race or religion.
Many kampung folks do not know what racism is until 'introduced' by UMNO during their speech. Read Eileen remarks from Malaysiakini below :
Eileen: I come from a kampung where the Chinese and Malays lived side by side in harmony. I remember during Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Raya Haji, our kitchen would be full of kuih, ketupat and beef curry.
And during Chinese New Year, my mother would be busy making tons of kuih bakul for all our Malay friends.
During the local fruits season, our house would be full of rambutan, mangosteen and durians, fresh from the backyards of our Malay friends.
We were all very naive and lived happily together. We didn't know what racism was until ‘ambitious’ politicians introduced it to our lives when they came to our village to canvass for support. They used racist policies to pit us against each other in order to cling on to power.
For the past 51 years, politicians have been poisoning us. This was especially evident during the March general election and the recent Permatang Pauh by-election.
After 51 long years of struggle, is it too much to ask that we all get along and respect each other? I hope the rakyat will bury their differences and give Anwar Ibrahim a chance to lead Malaysia forward.

What a shame!!

Too Little Too Late
Come with me
Stay the night
You say the words but boy it don’t feel right
What do you expect me to say
(You know it’s just too little too late)
You take my hand and you say you’ve changed
But boy you know your begging don’t fool me
Because to you it’s just a game
(You know it’s just a little too late)
So let me on down 'cause time has made me strong
I’m starting to move on
I’m gonna say this now
Your chance has come and gone and you know
[Chorus:]
It’s just too little too late
A little too wrong and I can’t wait
Boy you know all the right things to say
You know it’s just a little too late
You say you dream of my face but you don’t like me
You just like the chase
To be real it doesn’t matter anyway
You know it’s just too little too late
Yeah, yeah
It’s just too little too late
Mmm...
I was young and in love
I gave you everything but it wasn’t enough
And now you wanna communicate
(You know it’s just too little too late)
Go find someone else
In letting you go I’m loving myself
You gotta problem
But don’t come asking me for help
'Cause you know
[Chours]
I can love with all of my heart baby
I know I have so much to give
(I have so much to give)
With a player like you I don’t have a prayer
That’s no way to live, no
Mmm no
It’s just too little too late, yeah, yeah!
It’s just too little too late (Oh yeah)
A little too wrong and I can’t wait (Yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Boy you know all the right things to say (Whoo)
You know it’s just a little too late (Late)
You say you dream of my face but you don’t like me
You just like the chase You just like the chase baby)
To be real it doesn’t matter anyway (A hey)
You know it’s just too little too late
Ooh ooh ooh ooh yeah yeah yeah yeah
(You know it's just a little too late)
Oh I can't wait No no ooh
It’s just too little too late
(Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh)
A little too wrong and I can’t wait
(Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Boy you know all the right things to say (A hey)
You know it’s just a little too late
You say you dream of my face but you don’t like me
You just like the chase...
